2006-02-20 [Crimson Angel]: The best thing I found for quitting, although it will never truly go away as I've discovered, is to find inspiration each time you want to not do it... for me it was because I promised my BF I wouldn't, and when I did I would have to tell him... and it made me feel bad that I did it and had to show it to him. It worked fairly well enough. So if you have a good friend that either already knows about it, or you can trust with the secret, and make a promise to them that you have to report to them each time you cut... if you don't have a close friend, I am willing to help, but it is a little better if you have someone there for you.

2006-02-20 [sweetkiss]: Well that is simaler to what I promised mine [d.demon] but each time I do it he will not talk to me for that many weeks, 1st time 1 week, 2nd time 2 weeks etc... and tahat goes 4 smoking and anything like that so it really sucks, I am trying to diet but he will not let me he says I am too skinning, becuase I lost 8 sizes in the 2 months we were broken up.

Once I started Tae Kwon Do, I took the sadness, made it into hate, and then anger, and I took it out on our dummies. It seemed to help, along with my BF there to support me.
